My family went down to Austin this weekend to celebrate Cat and my Dad's birthday. Friday morning I had car trouble (Murphy's Law isn't it) so we all had to ride in my Dad's truck to Austin. Once we got there we all went to the Austin Zoo. The kids had so much fun. They were able to feed the Lama, deer, sheep and goats.
Saturday morning we woke up early and ran the Pflugerville Lake. My sister is running the half-marathon with me in September so it was nice to workout together. Kirk played with the kids while I ran 5 miles, Cat ran 4 miles and my dad ran 3 miles. When we got back to the house we got ready to go to the Splash Park. The kids went crazy! There was a pirate ship with a lot of slides and so many things for the kiddos to play on in the water. When we were done we went back to the house to celebrate my sister and dad's birthday. Then we had a cookout. It was such a nice weekend with my family.
